Afro (Nigerian to be specific) -German singer songwriter, AYO.’s debut album entitled Joyful, was first released in 2006, reaching Double-Platinum status in France, Platinum in Germany and Poland, Gold status in Switzerland and Italy. The album was realsed in the United States November 2007 by Interscope Records.

Years ago, living in Chicago I wore one of the ZENTS and absolutely adored it! To my delight, it smelled as delicious as it ever had.

Who knew the lemon was such an amazing fruit!

The lemon
I’ve loved them since I was young..on aroma alone. As I’ve grown, I’ve loved them for their shape, texture and vibrant color. From air freshener to hair products, I have generally chosen things that had a hint of lemon. As I’ve matured I’ve come to know of the many healing properties lemons posses, such as being a natural astringent and the juice lemons provides oxygen to vital organs. Lemons breakdown the mucus in our bodies and attached to our organs.

My personal favorite use of the lovely fruit is lemonade. And it feels so good going down know it’s doing my body good!

Here’s my recipe, try it and enjoy…

1 whole lemon -cleaned & peeled
2 parts water
1 part ice
Agave nectar/natural sweetener -sweeten to taste. (my personal favorite Agave nectar is made by www.therawchoice.com)

You can be decadent and garnish your favorite cocktail glass with a lemon wheel or curly zest. Or toss it in the biggest container you’ve got and nurse it for a while (don’t let it sit too long, the tang will begin to overpower your drink)
